    Sir Charles Tupper 1821-1915, was one of the Fathers of the Confederation. He qualified as a Doctor in Edinburgh and became Premier of Nova Scotia and Prime Minister of Canada. He died in Bexley Heath, Kent. A sample is in the Scottish Tartans Authority's Johnston Collection. The Firm of Sainthill- Levine & Co is mentioned but their role not known.
