The Kinloch Anderson tartan is exclusive, recognised worldwide and has become synonymous with the name of Kinloch Anderson and the Scottish lifestyle associated with it. The Kinloch Anderson tartan is based on the Clan Anderson tartan sett first recorded in the 13th century and so it reflects the heritage of the Anderson family’s ownership and management of the Company over six generations. The name “Anderson” means the son of Andrew and Kinloch means head of the loch. In this tartan there are 3 parallel burgundy coloured lines with the central line wider than those on either side and this is a feature taken from the Clan Anderson tartan. The colours of this unique tartan are rich classic and timeless in accordance with Kinloch Anderson’s heritage – they are navy, border brown, 2 shades of burgundy, black and antique gold. - Unknown — Kinloch Anderson #1 (Corporate) (tartans-authority, record)
