For anyone with the name. The colours reflect the Green and Saffron of Irish heritage. It's not known which colour is supposed to be saffron - possibly the scarlet. Strathmore Woollens weave. - 01/01/2000 — O'Neill (register-of-tartans, record)
This tartan was designed for the wedding of Timothy Powers O'Neill on 27th May 2000. It incorporates the traditional Irish colours of saffron and green along with the red that is prominently featured in the O'Neill crest. For use by anyone with the name O'Neill. Originally woven by Strathmore Woollen Co Limited. Very similar in construction to the O'Neills at STR #3248 and STR #3251.
