    This Sindex version appears to be a variant of the conventional Gillies/MacLeish/MacLellan in that an extra black stripe form a box within the blue square rather than a cross. Scottish Tartans Authority states that this is from the MacGregor Hastie Collection. A name associated with Badenoch and the Hebrides. It means 'servant of Jesus'.
