  • 1995 — Loch Ness (Fashion) (tartans-authority, record)
"Designed and exclusively handwoven under licence in Harris Tweed by Donald John MacKay, 6 Luskentyre, Isle of Skye, Scotland." This was designed by Donald John for Mrs Rosemary Samios, of Skye and is also woven in Reiver and Strome quality by Lochcarron of Scotland. Whilst officially a 'fashion' tartan it may be becoming accepted as a district tartan for the area. Apparently also used by the Broomhedge pipe band in Ireland.
