  • 01/01/2001 — Martin Hunting (register-of-tartans, record)
D.C. Dalgliesh was asked for a kilt length of 'Martin' tartan for a kilt for Eric Martin of Harrogate TN, USA for his wedding. Kenny produced this, which has only a vague resemblance to Martin and it arrived one week before Eric Martin's wedding. He had no choice but to get the kilt made up, and consulted Bob Martin who suggested that this one be named Martin Hunting. Estimated thread count for display purposes only.
