  • pre 1955 — Duke of Edinburgh (Fashion) (tartans-authority, record)
    From paper in Jack Dalgety Archives. From a plaid in the Paisley Museum said to be the only specimen of this sett in existance. It was exhibited at the Royal Highland Show in June 1955. A Mr Drennan won 1st prize for a handloom plaid of this sett. He was no doubt the designer as well - see #640 for the Paisley tartan which he designed in 1952.
