Starrett Comapny who employ 2,000 people in manufacturing precision tools, gauges, measuring instruments and saw blades for industrial, professional and consumer markets worldwide. Founded in 1880, Starrett is the last remaining full-line precision tool company to be manufacturing its products within the U.S.A. The design is based on Starrett's corporate colours of orange and yellow overlayed with black and grey, symbolising the company's stock-in-trade of technical drawings and steel tools.
