2 attestations — the source records this cloth was collapsed from (oldest owns this page)
  • 01/01/1990 — Holiday Inn Crown Plaza (register-of-tartans, record)
Designed by Colin Hutcheson of Kinloch Anderson Ltd. Tartan livery for what was originally the Scandic Crown Hotel.
  • pre 2002 — Holiday Inn (Corporate) (tartans-authority, record)
Colin Hutcheson of Kinloch Anderson Ltd. Tartan Society notes say originally Scandic Crown. Holiday Inn probably bought the hotel, inherited the tartan and changed its name. Based on the Lord of the Isles Old Htg. The connection between the tartan and the original client - Scandic Crown - was that the latter was Swedish owned and the Vikings did quite a bit of raping and pillaging around that area.
