Provenance

Earliest known date: Feb 1998 Based on the MacFarlane (with whom Knox was associated) and designed by Keith Lumsden when with the Scottish Tartans Society for a Mr D L Knox of Lancashire. (details from Keith Lumsden 20.3.2008). This was originally numbered 7555 but that was changed to 2516 on inspection of the Tartan Society Tartans Explorer 3 floppy disk in June 2009. What WAS 2516 was then renumbered 7555.
