From Scott Adie collection, a book of manufacturers' samples dated 1850 and thought to represent the tartans available for purchase between 1840-50. Lochcarron's note say this version was lost and resurrected in the 1960s by a US company and since then it has become a strong contender for official Buchanan Htg.
