    It is assumed that this was designed by Cochrane and George MacBeth of Vancouver in 1939. Similar to #541 with black guards having been added to the blue stripe. Recorded in the Coulson Bonner collection held in the Scottish Tartans Society archive.

    Black guards have been added to the blue stripe. Assumption is that Cochrane & Macbeth of Vancouver also designed this Hunting version. Scottish Tartans Society records make reference to Coulson Bonnar.
