Oliver Hunting
Its design is pattern GGGKGWGWGWGKGGGK — the page of every tartan sharing this colour sequence.
Designed for the Oliver Society in 1973, based on the c.1820 'Tweedside' weavers' formula.
The Oliver Hunting tartan groups 3 setts — the same named design recorded as different cloths (its kilt, Carpet, Child's…, or a transcription apart). The master sett (★) is the exemplar.
