MacTavish Hunting
A tartan of Clan MacTavish. Its design is pattern WGGWKW — the page of every tartan sharing this colour sequence.
Designed in 1958 for Lord Thomson of Fleet from a mid-19th-century Moy Hall sample; also for MacTavishs and Thompsons.
The MacTavish Hunting tartan groups 2 setts — the same named design recorded as different cloths (its kilt, Carpet, Child's…, or a transcription apart). The master sett (★) is the exemplar.
