MacMillan
Its design is pattern GKGKGKRGGKGK — the page of every tartan sharing this colour sequence.
Documented by Logan (1847), the ancient MacMillan form differs radically from the modern, and resembles Buchanan.
The MacMillan tartan groups 2 setts — the same named design recorded as different cloths (its kilt, Carpet, Child's…, or a transcription apart). The master sett (★) is the exemplar.
