MacNiven
A tartan of the MacNiven family.
Its design is pattern GGBBWBWBW — the page of every tartan sharing this colour sequence.
Based partly on MacNaughton, of whom MacNivens are a sept; accredited by the Scottish Tartans Society in 1988.
The MacNiven tartan groups 3 setts — the same named design recorded as different cloths (its kilt, Carpet, Child's…, or a transcription apart). The master sett (★) is the exemplar.
