Glen Trool
A tartan of Clan Glen. Its design is pattern GRGBR — the page of every tartan sharing this colour sequence.
Originated as a trade fashion sett, later adopted as a district tartan for Glen Trool in the Galloway Uplands.
The Glen Trool tartan groups 2 setts — the same named design recorded as different cloths (its kilt, Carpet, Child's…, or a transcription apart). The master sett (★) is the exemplar.
