Duke of Perth
A tartan of the Duke of Perth family.
Its design is pattern BBBGBBBGYBGBBBGBGW — the page of every tartan sharing this colour sequence.
The register's own recovery (SRT 4417 / STA 460) of the plaid in Domenico Duprà's 1739 portrait of the 4th Duke of Perth — the same painted cloth as the research reading, so it groups as a second sett of the Duke of Perth tartan rather than under the accidental 'Unnamed C18th' name-key (#203).
The Duke of Perth tartan is recorded as a single sett.
