Baird
Its design is pattern BGBGKBKB — the page of every tartan sharing this colour sequence.
Clan Baird tartan first recorded in Johnston's 1906 work; originally triple red stripes, now usually purple.
The Baird tartan groups 3 setts — the same named design recorded as different cloths (its kilt, Carpet, Child's…, or a transcription apart). The master sett (★) is the exemplar.
